ALBERT NOBBS (2011):
In order to escape her life of poverty, a woman defies Victorian Dublin’s rigid gender roles by disguising herself as a man named Albert Nobbs and working as a butler in a posh hotel. Albert’s (Glenn Close) double life takes a strange turn when she meets a handsome painter who has a secret of his own.
