ANNA GABRIEL

Anna's fine art photography has been exhibited in galleries in Sundance and Boston. She has also worked as a portrait photographer, taking photographs of musicians such as Iggy Pop, Moby, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Joseph Arthur, PM Dawn, Hassan Hakmoun and Peter Gabriel. Her work as a portrait photographer can be seen in such publications as "Inside the Music, Conversations with Contemporary Musicians about Spirituality, Creativity and Consciousness."

In 1997, Anna was asked to direct a music video for Joseph Arthur, which then led to her directing music videos for the next five years.

From 2002 to 2004, Anna shot and edited the documentary film, "Growing Up on Tour: A Family Portrait." The film is an intimate look at behind the scenes of Peter Gabriel's 2002/2003 concert tour from the knowing eye of his daughter. Anna's "Growing Up on Tour" documentary screened at major film festivals, including, the Newport International Film Festival, the Woodstock Film Festival, the High Falls Film Festival, the Phoenix Film Festival and the Santa Cruz Film Festival. Her work on the documentary has been featured in various publications, including RollingStone.com. Seventh Art Releasing eventually picked up the documentary for distribution in the US.

In 2006, Anna directed and produced (with Hamish Hamilton/Done and Dusted) a concert/documentary for Peter Gabriel entitled "Still Growing Up: Live and Unwrapped," which was released by Warner Brothers in the U.S., Europe and Japan.

Anna is currently directing and shooting feature documentaries. She was the director of photography on a documentary, entitled "Rock Star", on the infamous jewelry designer Stephen Webster. Last year she started filming a four year documentary on a young orphan girl in Cambodia, named Manin, who has a dream to study at Oxford University.
