Found lying on a couch surrounded by half wrapped Christmas presents, Joyce’s body was neglected for so long that her cause of death is still a mystery. Director Carol Morley combines interviews with reenacted scenes in an attempt to understand the enigmatic life of Joyce Vincent and examines the pervasiveness of loneliness in modern society.
