British filmmaker Ben Wheatley categorically defies genre with his latest film Kill List, the follow up to his 2009 directorial debut, crime family comedy Down Terrace.
Out of work since his last job went bad, hit man Jay (Neil Maskell) is an ex-military man languishing in strained suburban domesticity with his wife Shel (MyAnna Buring) and young son. When Jay and his old army pal and partner in crime Gal (Michael Smiley) take on a new assignment, their seemingly routine job begins to spin out of their control with devastating consequences.
