MELANCHOLIA (2011):
Part sci-fi apocalypse drama, part character study exploration of despair, depression and anxiety, Lars von Trier continues to push boundaries with his latest film, Melancholia. With a previously undiscovered planet hurtling towards Earth on a collision course, a new bride, her sister and their families are forced to cope with the imminent apocalypse in their own way. Kirsten Dunst won the Best Actress Award at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.
