PROJECT NIM (2011):
In the 1970s on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, scientists conducted an experiment attempting to prove that a chimpanzee could learn to communicate with humans using sign language if raised the same way one would a human child. This documentary takes a look at Project Nim, as it came to be known, and the fascinating, if not eerie, results of what happens when a chimp is raised to be human.
