THE TILLMAN STORY (2010):
Pat Tillman left his multimillion-dollar football contract to join the Army Rangers, and immediately became the poster boy for patriotic selflessness and duty to country. When he was killed in Afghanistan, the circumstances surrounding his death were manipulated by the military, using his tragic death as a propaganda tool for recruitment. Amir Bar-Lev’s documentary examines what really happened the day Tillman was killed and delves into the exploitation of his death at the hands of the US government.
